The fault was not of my making. I had promised my boss that I would join the new office located in a different city from the first of next month. That deadline was looming closer and I just had a week more of spare time before I had to report at the new office. Initially I had thought that moving household goods from one location to another was quite simple. All I required were some helping hands that would pick up my goods on a hired van. It was not as easy as I found out to my dismay. However, a friend of mine suggested that I try out a moving company. They were the correct persons for the job and that they would be able to do it within my time schedule.

Keeping these things in mind, I checked out the local yellow pages and noted down the details of a few home movers. They all assured me that they would be able to shift my goods to my new abode in another city in just 4 days. I finally entrusted my job to them and took out the next flight to the other city. I had hardly settled myself when the bell rang. It was the 3rd afternoon since I had arrived at the new city. A surprise greeted me when I opened the door. The folks of the moving company had arrived. They had assured me that they would shift my goods in 4 days, but they actually managed to complete the task in just 3.

It had been a long trip and I was thoroughly tired. On reaching home I was greeted by my wife. She seemed to be in a happy mood. She seems to have forgotten then entire episode of Las Vegas where a small blunder on my part had nearly spoiled our trip. I was not going to tale a risk anymore and try not to save money on trivial issues. I know that I do not have the time to move things around from one abode to another. The best option for this was by opting in for some Phoenix moving companies to do my task. It was quite tough staying properly in our old abode. It was basically a bachelor’s apartment with just a single room. I needed more space after getting married.

I still vividly remember the angry look on my wife’s face when I had spoiled a perfect trip to Las Vegas by not opting in for car rentals. There was no way I’d try to do a professional’s job myself. Though there are quite a number of things that need to be shifted, including some fragile porcelain antiques, I was sure that the moving companies in Phoenix would be able to perform the task properly. Keeping this in mind I had hired the services of a reputed moving company in Phoenix and entrusted the job of moving my goods from one abode to another on them. By the look of my wife’s face, it seems that they have done a pretty good job.

It is amazing how quick time flies. It seems as if it was just yesterday when I arrived in Denver. The fact is that it has been more than 5 years since I moved to this city from New York. My boss was pleased with my work in the capacity of a chief accountant in the New York zonal office and decided to send me to look after the accounts of their Denver branch. Five long years have passed by and now my boss has decided to make me the zonal manager of the company. This calls for a better lodging and I was provided with one in a posh locality of Denver. I do not have time to waste and yet I have to shift my belongings to the new abode. On hearing about my dilemma one of my colleagues suggested me to get in touch with one of the several moving companies in Denver.

He too had been through what I am undergoing now and he did not face any problems in shifting his goods from one abode to the other. In fact his face gleams with delight when he recalls those days when he had to shift. He was so impressed with a particular moving company in Denver that he suggested me to try them out. According to my colleague, I would not have to do anything. I just needed to explain to the staff of the Denver moving company the location of my new abode and where the goods were to be replaced. They would take care of the rest including unpacking my stuff from my old abode and then re-packing them again after they were transported to my new abode. I can now spend more time looking after my work in the office.
